Amendment to the Law Regulating Credit Information Societies, 2014


This law regulates the constitution and operation of credit information societies (CIS). These societies are only authorized to collect, manage and deliver credit information.  This is the 2014 amended version of the 2002 law. 

The federal government must review and approve CIS's proposals before they begin operations. This applicaiton must contain: the project's bylaws, the general operational program, the three-year investment plan, a description of products and services offered to customers, and any safety measures taken to protect clients' financial and personal information.
