Assembly of Kyrgyzstan - Law on the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, as Amended up to May 12, 2011

The Assembly of Kyrgyzstan's "Law on the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan" establishes the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan (NBKR) as the central bank for the country. The law defines the primary task of the NBKR as to support the purchasing power of the national currency, to ensure the effectiveness, safety and soundness of the country's banking and payment system, and to promote long-term economic growth.
