Bank of Ghana - Annual Report 2014


The global economy grew modestly in 2014 reflecting a pickup in advanced economies and a slowdown in emerging market and developing economies. As such, 2014 was quite challenging for Ghana. The Ghanaian economy continued to contend with both domestic and external shocks which reflected in subdued economic activity, a rising inflation and a significant depreciation of the cedi.
