Bank of Namibia - Guidelines for Minimum Security Standards for Banking Institutions

The Bank of Namibia's (BoN) Guidelines for Minimum Security Standards for Banking Institutions repeals and replaces Circular BIA 3/09 on Minimum Security Standards for Banking Institutions. The BoN's guidelines aims to improve and strengthen physical security at banking institutions, and ensure that banking institutions provide safety to their clients while transaction, as well as protect their clients's. The ultimate goal of these guidelines to reduce or mitigate the risks of theft and armed robberies targeting these banking institutions. The guidelines are divided into several parts, and cover the following topics: Implementation and Specific Requirements and Measures to Mitigate Attacks.
