Share:

The Bank of Zambia's (BoZ) Risk Management Guidelines for Financial Service Providers (FSPs) Regulated by the Bank of Zambia aims to ensure that the management of all FSPs identifies, measure, control and monitor the levels and types of risks assumed. These risks include operational risk, credit risk, market risk, reputational risk, and legal risk exposures. FSPs must understand what drives these risks, allocate capital against it and identify trends internally and externally that would help predict it. The guidelines are divided into several sections, and cover the following topics:

1. Risk Management Systems
2. Operational Risk
3. Credit Risk
4. Strategic Risk
5. Liquidity Risk
6. Market Risk
7. Legal Risk
8. Reputational Risk
