Circular 772, Amendment to the Law of Banking and Financial Entities No. 1488

This circular introduces an amendment to the Law of Banking and Financial Entities No. 1488. It establishes that enterprises extending mobile payment must fall under the law's scope and abide by its provisions. Enterprises extending mobile payments must adhere to all capital requirements, constitution and dissolution provisions stipulated in Law No. 1488. It also authorizes the use of payment services through mobile devices. Enterprises are given a sixty-day time frame to abide by these laws.
