Full-time Cyber-security Researcher Job Opening at Columbia Business School, New York City

The Columbia Institute for Tele-Information, a research center at the Columbia Business School seeks a researcher for its Digital Financial Services Observatory (DFSO) project.

The ideal candidate would have a background in cyber-security, payments, and policy work. 

The successful candidate will work with the institute’s staff and the project’s Principal Researcher and a small team involved in an international research and capacity building project on digital financial services (DFS), particularly to design and build an actionable risk management framework for DFS for developing countries financial ecosystems. The RMF could ultimately be automated using a regtech solution.

The project will involve extensive outreach to DFS regulators and DFS financial ecosystem participants in developing countries. Writing of papers to accompany the RMF will be required.
