Kenicoin Warning Issued by Kenya Capital Markets Authority

In an effort to protect the general public, the Kenya Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has issued a cautionary statement on participation in Kenicoin with a reminder that activities appear to be following conduct that requires approval by the Authority which has not, as of yet, been issued.

The concise Kenicoin white paper which describes the initial coin offering (ICO) offered in 2018, states that "within the first 12 month after ICO, the value of KeniCoin will have increase at least 30 folds, which is around 3000%" along with a very sparse representation of the management team.

The CMA also noted that it was investigating "Wiseman Talent Ventures", the entity listed as associated with KeniCoin, with an office address in Nairobi, Kenya.
