Ministry of Finance of Namibia - Credit Bureau Regulations


The Ministry of Finance of Namibia's Credit Bureau Regulations apply to all credit bureaus, credit providers, data subjects and all persons who engage in the business of receiving reports of or investigating, credit applications; credit agreements; payment history or patterns; or credit performance information. The regulations establish the minimum standards for these entities in operate in the country. The regulations are divided into several parts, and set forth provisions on the following topics:
