National Bank of Rwanda - Regulation No. 01/2013 - Establishing Conditions for Counting and Sorting of Bank Notes and Measures to Detect Currency Counterfeiting

The National Bank of Rwanda's Regulation No. 01/2013 establishes rules and procedures under which financial institutions should carry out activities of handling bank notes, including counting and sorting activities and detection of counterfeit currency collected from clients. The regulation is divided into several chapters, and sets forth provisions on the following topics:

1. Features of Unfit Currency and Detection of Counterfeit
2. Procedure of Cash Deposit and Withdrawal in the Central Bank
