National Bank of Rwanda - Regulation No. 02/2009 - On the Organization of Micro Finance Activity


The National Bank of Rwanda's Regulation No. 02/2009 applies to second, third and fourth category micro finance institutions (MFIs), as defined in this regulation, and is passed with the purpose to specify the norms or procedures to be observed by MFIs, unions and federations conducting business in the country. The regulation is divided into several chapters, and covers the following topics:
