Press release noting that OJK, Indonesia's Financials Services Regulator, will be monitoring the implementation of Regulation Number 1/POJK.07/2013 as pertaining to consumer protection. OJK, in addition to randomly evaluating banks through a "mystery shopping" process, will base its evaluation of Consumer Protection practices will follow three phases:
1. Regulation and policy on consumer protection;
2. Implementation of consumer protection stipulations; and
3. Evaluation of implementation of consumer protection stipulations.
