Parliament of Namibia - Payment System Management Amendment Act, 2010

The National Parliament of Namibia's Payment System Management Amendment Act amends the Payments System Management Act (2003) empowering the Bank of Namibia (BoN) to determine standards for user fees and charges for service delivery. The act provides the compliance of these standards and take remedial action for non-compliance. The amendment also sets forth provisions for administrative penalties for any delay in complying with any directive, determination, guideline, standard, circular, specification, order, or notice issued by the BoN. In addition, the act provides for the offenses of forging and falsifying a payment instrument or defrauding a lawful holder of a payment instrument.
