The Banking (Amendment) Act 2007 - Act 738 is an act passed by the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana to amend the Banking Act, 2004 (Act 673). The Act aims to facilitate the establishment of an International Financial Services Centre that seeks to attract foreign direct investment, income from license fees payable in foreign currencies, and to create employment and enhance local skills and knowledge. The Act also aims to strengthen the financial sector through expansion of the use of investment banking instruments and has provisions for related matters.
