The Parliament of Zambia's Prohibition and Prevention of Money Laundering (Amendment), 2010 amends and supplements various provisions of the Prohibition and Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2001. The act redefines several terms as defined in the original act, including the definition of "money laundering" and "proceeds of crime". In addition, the amendment revises the functions of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Investigations Unit, and repeals and replaces section five on the "Prevention of Money Laundering" and incorporates provisions for the newly created Financial Intelligence Center.
